Thai Yoga Massage
(Therapy for Physical Well-being &
Spiritual Energy)

Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art with roots in Hatha Yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, accupressure and Buddhist philosophy. It originated in India over 2000 years ago.

Thai Yoga Massage incorporates rhythmic motion, gentle stretching and breathwork. In this unique healing system, the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a full body treatment given with a lot of Metta (Love and Compassion).

In addition to stretching and toning the muscles, it improves circulation, relieves muscular tension and spasms, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically and spiritually.

Other healing benefits of Thai Yoga Massage are:

  • Deep relaxation
  • Stress and anxiety release
  • Increased blood flow throughout the body
  • Brings mind, body and Spirit together

AYURVEDIC MASSAGE
(Heated Massage)

Ayurvedic Massage is traditional Indian techniques used for balancing the body and mind. Heated oils are used in Ayurvedic massage, making it exuberantly relaxing and healing in many ways. Regular massage helps balance the three body humors known in Ayurveda as the doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

Ayurvedic Massage is therapeutically used for:

  • headaches
  • improving dry skin disorders
  • insomnia
  • arthritis
  • blood pressure
  • symptoms of depression

Ayurvedic Massage is a full body treatment. The practitioner first massages the body with heated oils, then a special rose powder is used to exfoliate the skin. Last, the body is completely gone over with heated towels. If desired, an oil scalp treatment is also applied.

"The best, easiest and most
natural remedy for worry
and stress is through massage."
Harish Johari
